Workplace Health and Safety Practices

To maintain a healthy and safe working environment, we will:

Security Worker Health and Safety

Security workers face unique risks such as threats, abuse, and assault. Recognizing that violence is a crime and not ‘part of the job,’ we encourage all incidents to be reported.

Welfare Standards for Security Workers:

  1. Access to Basic Amenities:
    – Accessible toilets, washing facilities, and drinking
  2. Availability of Rest Facilities:
    – A warm, comfortable rest room or a suitable office
    – Facilities for making hot drinks and warming food if workers cannot leave the
  3. Support for Comfortable Work Conditions:
    – Seating arrangements to minimize prolonged standing and reduce health

Reporting Procedures:

Responsibilities of Clients

In the event of a failure in essential utilities such as water, electricity, gas, or sewerage,

which are under the client’s contractual responsibility, we will:

  • Deploy Standby Measures: Ensure the availability of temporary facilities, including portable toilets, water tanks, and generators, to maintain workplace safety and hygiene.
  • Engage with Clients Proactively: Collaborate closely with clients to address and resolve utility failures promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to employee
  • Provide Timely Employee Communication: Inform employees in advance about potential disruptions and provide clear guidance on how to mitigate any inconvenience or risks associated with the
  • Conduct Regular Compliance Reviews: Perform periodic reviews of client obligations to ensure adherence to health and safety
  • Strengthen Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement contingency plans to address prolonged utility outages or other unforeseen challenges that may impact health and safety

By adhering to these enhanced measures, we ensure that health and safety remain a top priority, even in circumstances involving external challenges or disruptions.
